Dr Rai completed MD (Anaesthesia) and senior residency from Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Dr Rai specializes in regional anaesthesia; especially ultrasound guided nerve blocks, acute pain management (continuous peripheral nerve blocks and patient controlled analgesia) to provide contemporary and up-to-date post-operative pain relief, difficult airway management (fibre optic bronchoscope guided intubation). He also has special interests in ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia, ultrasound in anaesthesia practice and interventional pain management (with focus on Ultrasound guided pain blocks)
