Dr Mrinal Sharma is an Arthroplasty surgeon of International acclaim. He did graduation from Govt. Rajendra Medical College ,Patiala. This Alma mater laid the foundation for his career as a medico. His mother suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and was bed-ridden for five years till she got her knees replaced and started walking soon. This was a turning point in the career of Dr Mrinal, who initially wanted to become a general surgeon, was determined to become an orthopaedic surgeon(Joint replacement specialist).He did his Masters from the prestigious Sawai Man Singh Hospital and Medical College, Jaipur. There was no looking back after that. He also did his DNB in Orthopaedics, MCH Orthopaedics and Diploma SICOT(Belgium). Dr Mrinal Sharma is a renowned Joint Replacement Surgeon (knee specialist) who has delivered exceptional results over his long standing career. He was trained in the USA, the UK and Germany. He is a Ranawat Fellow in Adult Joint Reconstruction and was trained at Hospital for Special Surgery at New York, USA under Dr C S Ranawat. Here, he was also trained in Robotic Assisted Knee and Hip Replacement. He has done his SICOT fellowship in Computer Navigated Knee and Hip replacement surgery at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Dr Mrinal was trained in Revision Arthroplasty at the Endoklinik, Hamburg, Germany. He has been honoured with SICOT India Foundation Award, First Ambassador of Indian Orthopaedic Association to Singapore, Indian Orthopaedic Association IOSUK Travelling Fellowship, Ludhiana Travelling Fellowship, Delhi Orthopaedic Association Travelling Fellowship and many more. He has more than 20 international presentations and more than 15 publications in International and National journals. He has been a guest faculty at many international and national conferences and has been felicitated at many occasions by Indian Medical Association, Noida Diabetic Forum ,Senior Citizens Forum, Sirhind hospital, Baba Zorawar Singh Trust, and many more. He has been invited as speaker at Akashwani and All India Radio for live talk shows at numerous occasions.
