Dr Anita Kaul is trained in Fetal Medicine with Professor Kypros Nicolaides at Kings College Hospital,London.She returned back to Delhi to start the Apollo Fetal Medicine Unit as a separate unit in August 2006.The Unit is slowly getting established as a referral unit for a variety of chromosomal screening tests ,diagnosis and management of fetal abnormalities.This is the only unit in North India accredited with the Fetal Medicine Foundation UK for 1st Trimester Downs syndrome screening.Regular teaching and training programmers are organized by her. Her main area of interest is in Downs syndrome screening and in- utero fetal therapy. Earlier Dr Anita Kaul completed her MBBS from Bangalore University in 1986 and Master of Surgery (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from Kanpur University in 1991
