Dr Sabharwal returned to Delhi after completing fellowship training from Adelaide, Australia. He is an expert in Upper Limb pathologies and Arthroscopic (Key Hole) surgery for sports injuries. He worked at the hospitals associated with the Southern Adelaide Health Network, which is the largest tertiary care network in South Australia. He has undergone special training in Shoulder and Elbow Disorders at the Repatriation General Hospital, Adelaide. The joint replacement fellowship at RGH enabled Dr Sabharwal to fine tune his skills in Shoulder and Knee Joint replacement., His focus in Australia was on the management of complex Shoulder and Knee Injuries in both professional and amateur athletes. With a principal interest in Upper Limb pathology & Sports Injury Management by Arthroscopy, Dr Sabharwal's latest and modern overseas training also includes Joint Replacement and complex trauma surgery. Earlier Dr Akash Sabharwal did MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune in 2006
and Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka in 2009
