Dr Alankar Ramteke, is a fellowship trained joint replacement specialist and has participated in over 2700 primary joint replacements and many complex joint reconstructions and revision surgeries. He has a special interest in joint preservation surgeries in the young. Dr Ramteke trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, USA under the prestigious Ranawat Joint Replacement Fellowship in 2013. In 2009, he received fellowship training at St. John of God Health Care and Musculoskeletal Research Centre, La Trobe University at Melbourne, Australia, in knee surgery, joint replacement & reconstruction surgery. In 2008, he was awarded hip & knee reconstruction fellowship, at Kyung Hee University Neo Medical Centre, at Seoul, Korea.
