Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Ltd is a heritage hospital. On January 8, 1958 Dr. B.C.Roy, the architect of modern West Bengal, and a distinguished physician in his personal capacity, laid the foundation stone of the building complex.
Since then Woodlands has carved out its own space in alleviation of suffering. Keeping abreast of technology in medical science, the hospital has upgraded its facilities constantly, for close to six decades.
Woodlands has been fortunate in attracting the best among physicians and surgeons, nursing staff and paramedics. They have delivered patient care that is reflected in feedback received from patients and their relatives.
All this together makes every individual associated with the hospital today part of a proud heritage. The first multispecialty hospital does not rest on its laurels. New challenges open up new frontiers to conquer.
